We’re only halfway through summer, but rock legend telefone is already giving us more to look forward to in the fall.

telefone started as a garage jamb. With the release of their latest single, they sure aren’t one anymore.

“It’s our responsibility to get off the sidelines and do something,” says lead singer Jaydills.

SamGee and Jaydills of telefone are more than bandmates — they’re twin siblings. We talked to them about what it’s like to work with family.

Beyond their musical interests, telefone has made no secret of their love of film. It’s fitting, then, that one of their songs will appear in one of the year’s hottest debut features.

With a new record label and a 16 date international tour, everyone’s favorite local band is about to become a much bigger deal.
